Hello! i was at a birthday party today and i got my first ever pair of fairy wings. They looked very pretty on me. Awelita says she will get me pink ones for my first birthday. Yay!

I also got into all the party food, i ate jelly; egg, ham & cheese sandwiches; sausage sandwiches and chocolate biscuits. Oh well, it's not every day a girl gets to eat whatever she likes!

I now have 4 teeth (well, my fourth one is coming through and being very painful & slow about it) and my gummy smiles have some extra character now. Mummy will have to get me a new toothbrush soon!

I am now a very proficient crawler and chase Tito everywhere. I have also been too fast for Mummy at times and when she takes pictures all she gets is my fast legs moving away!

Ok, that's all for now. This week i don't have daycare as Jenny is on holidays so i am spending the next three days with Daddy, Nanna & Mummy. YAY!!

Hello! well, yes i AM a big girl, i have 3 teeth and i can crawl! YAY! mummy and daddy (especially daddy) thought i would go straight to walking and not crawl at all, so i was glad to surprise them by finally managing a crawl on my own, on hands and knees (none of this commando crawling- which i did do for a while there!)

I have also sprouted teeth in the space of just a couple of weeks. I have been a bit grumpy pants and not sleeping well so i hope once these teeth of mine settle i can return to my good sleeping which means mummy and daddy can sleep well too.

Mummy says it's hard to get photos of my new teeth as they are only tiny and they have only just started popping out, but once they are out completely i will be sure to show them off and you can see pictures of them.

So now that i have teeth (sort of) i am enjoying lumpier food (mummy gave me Le Rice. It's Le Yum!!) and i am also chasing poor Tito around a lot more. He doesn't mind my rough pats and even when i sit on him (accidentaly of course) he doesn't get mad. He hasn't bitten me or scratched me once. I love him very much and i giggle when i touch his soft hair...

what else... all the kids at daycare love me and take care of me, they give me lots of kisses and cuddles which is nice but i also came home with a cold because of one of them so i am not sure about all this love i am getting!

School holidays are not too far away and i am very happy about this as i get to spend more time playing with mummy and daddy. Yay!

Hello!

It's been AGES since i was last here sharing my news. This is because now i am very busy at daycare and i don't have much time to go online. Mummy is back at work too so she doesn't have much time either but here we are, we managed to get some time on the computer to share photos and stories!

I have been at daycare now for about a month and it's not so bad... Mummy and Daddy thought i was going to cry lots all the time but i only cry a little bit at the start of each day and then i forget why i was crying. So it's all ok.

I am learning new things all the time. Mummy is worried that i am not interested in crawling and i think she is right. All i wanna do is stand up and walk around, the world is a big place and i wanna see it ALL!! I get cranky sometimes if i have been standing and mummy or daddy sit me down again. Lately i have managed to pull myself up by holding onto furniture and i think i will be walking very soon. I can do a commando crawl but it's not very lady-like so i don't do it very often.

Can you believe i am almost 9 months old already? And NO TEETH YET! i went through about a week of being cranky pants and my gums were red and sore, and two teeth surfaced a little bit but since then they haven't moved any more, so it's a mystery to all of us as to when i am gonna get teeth. I would love some soon, i already have a toothbrush and i love it. So my smiles are still just gummy, as you can see in the pictures above.

What else... i love banging on the computer keys and i have already messed up mummy and daddy's laptop, so daddy brought home a keyboard for me. It's not as much fun but i have a go at banging at it with my little hands anyway.

And food: not so keen on it anymore. I love fruit and yoghurt and that's about it. But i do love drinking water from my sippy cup, and i have been eating milk arrowroot biscuits, also very nice and they are soooo messy! i love it! today i tried a cheese stick but i bit off a big chunk and it made me gag and vomit. Oops! Today i also tried my first cheesymite scroll from Baker's Delight. It was yummy and i was making lots of "mmmmmmmm" sounds when i ate it- because i thought it was so nice and TASTY!

Well, once again i am very sorry it has taken this long to share news. Mummy promises to come back soon with more photos amd stories of my little adventures.

Mummy & Daddy are going back to work soon so we are enjoying our last days of the Summer Holidays before i have to go to Day Care (noooooo!!)

We have been splashing in the pool and wearing not much really, it's been quite hot!

In this post we have proof that i can use a sippy cup all by myself. I needed a big drink of water today, it was 33C!

Summertime Antics

Hello!

Well i have been out and about enjoying the sunshine and daddy's school holidays to go to lots of nice places. We have been to Anna Bay to visit Tia Claudi & Tio Jano, i've also been to the beach a couple of times and the pool as well. Daddy even bought me a little splash pool that we have at home for hot days. It's only small but we all fit in there and have fun splashing about. Mummy bought me a nice rashie to cover me up and protect me from the sun. I must say i look pretty special with it on, and my hat!

I love the water so much that lately i have been crying lots when mummy or daddy get me out. I am trying to say "Put me back in!!" but they don't listen...

We are flying to Melbourne soon to visit some friends and i am very excited to get on a plane for the first time. We are also flying Business Class so i feel pretty special. VIP bottles of milk for me!!

I am also starting Day Care very soon as mummy has to go back to work at the end of the month and i am not happy about this. I cry lots when mummy or daddy aren't around so i hope i grow out of this soon. Mummy is very nervous but i'm sure i will get used to it soon. I am a very clever little cookie so i should be able to impress her after a little while.

Ok, that's all for now. Daddy's camera is sick so we haven't been taking many pictures lately but as soon as it is fixed i will be back with more stories.

My First Christmas

Hello!

well here is a small selection of pictures mummy and daddy took of me on my First Xmas. I am dressed in my xmas best, including a Santa hat that was a little too big for me. I got more presents than anyone and i had a ball opening them all. Not surprisingly, i enjoyed the wrapping paper and ribbons more than the gifts themselves (but i do love all my new things a lot).

Above you can see dad trying to cook me in Tia Claudia & Tio Jano's new BBQ, me chilling with awelita & awelito on the swing chair and generally having a great time this festive season. I also had a good go at picking flowers from my awelita's garden. I know she loves me lots because she let me tear a few off without a peep.

Ah yes, you can also see me sporting a swimsuit for the first time, Tia Claudi has bought me 2 already, i can't wait to get in the water again and show off the other one too. What else... i went down my slippery dip at home for the very first time. It's been a long time coming (7 months waiting for this day). I enjoyed it a lot, mainly because i was safe within daddy's reach in case i went off flying in the air.

That's all for now. I must say mummy and daddy were VERY happy with me on xmas morning, as i slept beautifully the night before and did not wake up until 6.50am (a first for me). Yay!! Well, they HAD to have a xmas present from me after all...
